In collaboration with iEducate USA, the Seven Lakes High School Robotics club is seeking to build an innovative, inspirational, and sustainable program to inspire hundreds of kids to pursue a rigorous STEM education.
The main objective is to spark a love of science in young kids from backgrounds typically economically and ethnically underrepresented in STEM fields. The curriculum includes:
The Workshops allow the kids to be exposed to experiential learning of engineering concepts in an interactive, self-paced, goal-oriented format. The kids learn from older kids to foster role model relationships.

TO A BRIGHT NEW WORLD!
Saturday, May 13th, a group of girl scouts came to the Robert Shaw Center and had the opportunity to do some fun science experiments. From a balloon and static electricity to the creation of "dinosaur snot," the girls scouts learned a lot. It all ended with a demonstration of the robots built the last two years, which was, without a doubt, the best part. later that day. See pictures here.
